THE FUTURE IS DIGITAL - NEW TECHNOLOGIES
By keeping up with continuous technological changes, TVR is connecting with its audience through the traditional TV screen, the PC screen and the screens of smart phones.
WEBCAST - (live internet broadcast) TVR broadcasts major events online. In 2011, TVR broadcasted for the first time selections of the George Enescu music festival online.
HD – TVR, who owns a HD broadcasting channel, is modifying its technical base in order to develop its own production capacity and broadcast in this format. TVR HD has been the first to broadcast the sporting events for which it owns the exclusive rights (The Olympic Summer Games from Beijing, The Winter Olympic Games from Vancouver, UEFA Champions League, The World Football Cup from South Africa, Formula 1, etc.)
MOBILE TV - TVR Info has been the first news channel in Romania to have developed a mobile phone application.
VIDEO LIBRARY – In order to establish better interaction with the public, TVR aims to organize video content in a platform that will give the user easier online access. TVR+ is an online platform that will offer the possibility of watching TVR programs in a more flexible manner.
SMART TELEVISION - TVR is working on a project of implementing hybrid TV in Romania, Smart TV, which would enable the user to log onto the internet via TV.
