The competitors of the Eurovision Song Contest are already overwhelmed by emotions! This is the day when we will find out the names of the first finalists of the contest. The Eurovision show will continue in Arad, on February 10th, when the jury and the viewers will qualify 6 other songs for the Final, in Sala Sporturilor “Victoria” venue.

On February 17th we will find out who will represent Romania at the Eurovision

The Big Final will take place on February 17th 2019, in Bucharest, in a show broadcasted exclusively by TVR.

At the end of the three shows of the National Selection 2019, we will find out who will represent Romania at Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Out of all the songs qualified in the contest, only one will be designated as the winner of Eurovision Romania.

Smaranda Vornicu-Shalit will lead, this year, Romania’s delegation in Tel Aviv. In 2018, she was part of the International Contest Festival „Golden Stag” as Director of the Festival and, now, she has accepted the challenge of coordinating Romania’s delegation at the Eurovision 2019: „It is a great honour and also a great responsibility to be appointed as part of TVR’s team for the Eurovision 2019 project. I wish the experience gained  during the Golden Stag International Festival would support the common dream that we all have, whether we are talking about artists, fans or the organisers”, has Smaranda Vornicu declared. We all want the best possible result for Romania in the finals in Tel Aviv!” has the Head of Romania’s delegation added.
